After walking around the CBD, I found myself taking a break, again, at the Adelaide Botanic Gardens. I was a bit better prepared with my camera this time and a little more intentional. The weather continues to heat up, which also means clean blue skies and hard sunlight. This means lots of colour and drama in the images. Here are a few from this time around.
I even managed to get a few photographs of one of the Chihuly installations that I did not immediately hate myself for. And, how often does one get a duck photo that isn’t half bad either!
If this is any indication, there will be several trips I will be making to this location in the coming days, months and years and I am SO looking forward to it. Next time, I will probably also carry a sheet with me so I can lay on the grass and take a nap under a tree. Could easily spend an entire day there just reading, writing, planning fine-art images and taking a nap. What a life!
